Human Rights Day is celebrated worldwide on 10th December because on that day back in 1948, short after the atrocities of World War II, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted The Universal Declaration of The Human Rights.
The 9th A students from the EBSA were involved in an initiative articulated between English and the School Library that consisted of a Wall displaying several activists. The title is "Human Rights Activists - Portraits Wall".
The Wall is impressive when you read about the commitment, resilience and fearless fight of so many different people in defense of human rights.

Os alunos do 9.º A da EBSA envolveram-se numa iniciativa articulada entre a disciplina de Inglês e a Biblioteca Escolar que consistiu num Mural dispondo vários Ativistas. O título é "Human Rights Activists - Portraits Wall".
O Mural impressiona ao ler-se acerca da entrega, resiliência e luta destemida de tantas e diferentes figuras em defesa dos direitos humanos.
